Leda’s Bio

I was born a poor black child ; I remember the days sitting on the porch with my family singing and dancing.

Well, not exactly. Let’s start with this:

Yes, like “…and the swan.” When your parents were once kids who got lost in the pages of Greek mythology, you are probably lucky not to end up with Hecuba or Iphigenia. Seriously, I was this close to being named Elektra.

So, Leda Marlowe. On October 6, 2004, at 11:40 pm, I was born in Summit, NJ. That’s a big week for birthdays in my family so I was stoked to have a day to myself. Sharing is enough of a challenge when it’s only your crayons or a book, you know? I enjoy eating; reading; dancing to music (I am not especially discriminating, although thanks to Papa I do know to clap on 2 and 4); and being outside. I like puppies, choo-choo trains, and cheese very much.
