Trick or Treat, 2007 Edition
Halloween 2007 featured Leda’s first self-selected costume. For the last two months she’s been telling us that she was going to be Winnie-the-Pooh, which, naturally, led us to expect an 11th-hour switch to Kermit, rocket scientist, or caterpillar, accompanied by a quasi-tantrum as she insisted that she’d never ever wanted to be Winnie-the-Pooh. Yet, the day came, and Leda eagerly stepped into her costume, making sure that Cleo was also dressed in the costume her big sister had chosen for her. At bedtime Leda got into PJs and then asked, so sweetly, whether she could please wear her costume to bed. How could we say no?
